Senior Circuit Meet
The Stars have agreed to co-host the Senior Circuit Meet with Penguin Swimming. There are two tracks to this meet. The morning session is a prelims/finals format that requires 13-14 A times to compete. The afternoon sessions are timed finals and have no cut times. Typically, the Senior Circuit meet is well attended by teams from outside of our LSC and is one of the few faster meets available in area during Long Course. The afternoon session also provides an opportunity for our younger swimmers to compete.
Penguin Swimming was struggling to host the meet this year, and approached us to help. In exchange for providing volunteer meet workers (timers, admissions, and lane marshals), they are splitting the meet revenue with us. We have no up front expenditures. This is a great fund-raiser for the Stars, but WE NEED YOUR HELP. First, sign your swimmer up to compete. If you have questions about which session is appropriate for your swimmer, ask their coach. This is a team meet. Second, sign up to work at the meet. YOU WILL GET VOLUNTEER HOURS for this. If you did not complete your volunteer hours for last year and you do not wish to pay the balance, we will credit hours you earn at the Senior Circuit meet toward last year's balance if you request that we do so.
Let's make this a success.
